Course Description
In an era of fragmentation, "The Architecture of the Soul" offers a rigorous, Quranic framework for mental and spiritual integration. This course provides an academic yet deeply personal journey into the Islamic science of the self (Ilm al-Nafs). We move beyond surface-level mindfulness to explore the deep Semantic Structure of the Quran as a blueprint for the human psyche.
Foundational Doctrine: The Safavi Order's approach to Islamic Psychology is grounded in the Quran, Hadith, Islamic Mysticism ('Irfan), and Islamic Philosophy — forming a unified and comprehensive understanding of the human soul. Key thinkers: Al-Ghazali, Ibn Sina, Rumi, and Mulla Sadra.
Unlike Western psychological models rooted in materialist frameworks, Islamic Psychology places the soul (nafs) and the heart (qalb) at the centre of human experience. This course demonstrates how Islamic Psychology offers a profound and distinct alternative — one that is both academically rigorous and spiritually transformative.
