Dr Safavi is the founder and director of the London Academy of Iranian Studies (LAIS) and has authored over 90 books and articles in English, Persian, and Arabic. With over 50 years of scholarship, he holds advanced degrees in Islamic Philosophy, Islamic Psychology, Theology, and Mysticism, and has lectured at universities across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
